Le programme Active and Assisted Living (AAL) a pour objectif de développer et de mettre en œuvre des solutions innovantes reposant sur des technologies de l’information et de la communication au profit des personnes âgées. Le programme AAL a lancé son 10e appel à projets intitulé « Smart Solutions for Ageing Well ».

[Anglais] The AAL Challenge-led Call 2018 is about “Smart Solutions for Ageing well”. It aims to provide innovative Information and Communications Technologies (ICT) based solutions including products, systems or services to enhance older adults’ quality of life, to improve long-term sustainability of the health and long-term care systems and to strengthen the industrial base in Europe. The main goal is to improve the autonomy, participation in social life, skills, and employability of older adults. Solutions funded under the AAL Programme address identified wishes and needs of the end-users, are transnational, collaborative and cost-shared between private and public funding. Changes with respect to AAL Call 2017: – AAL Call 2018 allows now for more flexibility regarding the scope, size and duration of the projects (« Collaborative projects », « Small collaborative projects ») – New « Small collaborative projects » (6 months duration): their main objective is the exploration of new ideas, concepts and approaches for ICT-based solutions for older adults. They should reach out to new stakeholders for inclusion in (future) development of AAL solutions, build strong collaborations with end-user organisations, support community building with new customers and create shared agendas.
